Pastor Jones is the founding pastor of New Life Church, and has been in the ministry for over forty-five years. His theology degree is from Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, California. Besides ministry in California, he has pastored churches in Oklahoma and Missouri. His emphasis and focus have been in the ministry of teaching and worship. Pastor Jones, previously, hosted a T.V. program called, “Call To Commitment”, which aired in various states for many years.
Pastor Jones is married to Dr. Jana Jones. Her educational and professional background centers around the theatre. She has produced, acted, and directed professionally as well as taught on the college level. She presently teaches at Henderson State University and Central Baptist College.
She serves in the church primarily as the pastor’s wife but also teaches and works with children and teens with drama and special projects such as youth outreach.
Pastor Jones sees New Life Church as a refuge for hurting people, coming to be healed and restored to new life through the power of the risen Lord Jesus Christ. He purposes that our services will be characterized by love, power, and knowledge as we teach God’s Word, as well as worship Christ in Spirit and in Truth.
